• Natural product exists throughout the entire Mediterranean Bay

• Cork is the bark of cork tree which is very long-lived and with an enormous capacity for regeneration. It can live on average 150 to 200 years despite its stripped around 16 times during its lifetime at nine-year intervals (i.e. grows back every 9 years).

• Cork has a unique advantage in flexibility, elasticity and compressibility due to its honeycomb like cellular structure, and the cell membranes are filled with an air-like gas, giving cork its capacity to insulate and re-expand quickly after compression. So it is very suitable for a large range of interior and exterior building material application.

• No chemical binders added. It is agglutinated from resins in the cork itself, with out the use of any synthetic agents like glues or solvents.
