4 main benefits of cladding a wall instead of painting it.

Wall cladding has a lot of advantages besides its decorative appeal.

#1 Cheaper than paint it on the wall:

Painting it is easy but it is also labor intensive and time-consuming. Considering the labor cost is skyrocketed to HKD 3000-3500 per labor for emulsion paint, for artistic and plastering paint is even worse. So it would absolutely save your pocket a lot with just paying for the installation cost and the penal itself!

#2 Lots of add-on functions

It can make your walls sound proof if done a certain way. You can also layer it over walls that are already in place. You can add other substances to the panels as well in order to minimize the amount of sound that gets through. Some of these substances come in the form of fiberglass, rock wool insulation, and vinyl. Exterior wall paneling can protect your home from the external forces of nature as well.

#3 PVC is cheap & easy

Wall cladding is an excellent alternative to having tile put in. Installation is easy, and it is easier to keep up and maintain than tiling. PVC wall cladding can even make the walls water proof. PVC is affordable, installation is quick, and it can enhance the décor of any room. There are a number of looks, finishes, and materials that you can choose from; allowing anyone to be able to find a design that works for them.

#4 PVC cladding is good but...

However...

Weak fire resistant capacity - It in certain way cannot be fire resistance, it does not fulfill BS 476 part 4, namely the non-combustibility test because it will melt-down as the fire approaches and stays.

Lack of texture & authenticity - The PVC cladding has variety of finishes and colors but the level of texture lacks authenticity. With DECO plus+ special finished penals, you can customize safety features, colors, gloss level, texture intensity and style for your wall. All you need to do is to put them on the wall.

Last but not least

When you choose the material you feel is right for your walls, there are a number of things to be considered. You need to think about what room you are placing the paneling into, what type of maintenance the paneling will require, and if the paneling fits within your renovation budget for that room. The type of material you use is going to affect the room, so you want to ensure that it will not throw off the décor you have picked out. There is such a large variety that you can choose a type of cladding to suit any room in your home. You also want to choose products that are good quality because this will save you money in the long run and provide better protection.
